Massbias App Projects On-Hold

PEAR or not? MVC or not? Which type of hosting to use or build my own servers? PHP/Curl or not? Decisions, decisions, decisions. Application building is as uber complex as sending a rocket to the moon. Well, at least for me it is and no I have never worked for NASA, but I do believe a trivial feat it is not.

Prioritizing tasks are important otherwise things start to get overwhelming. Anyway, right now the CoDemand application project is on hold (not to mention the main Massbias app too) - awaiting funding and resources so to speak.

Coding projects take up a lot of investments especially with regards to time and research, such things I obviously lack at the moment. No, actually I don't lack them but before my financial "world" comes crashing on my head, I have to think I do. Monetary wise, its also quite the super sponge. Depending on the scope of the project and its requirements, you could be spending a lot of money on hardware and IT resources for years on end without a sign of profit.

Let's face it. The knowledge to be gained from being a developer is great and superb for building a logical mind, but you got to ask yourself whether this endeavor which can take up 80% of your time living is worth it.

Of course it is! I love it! How about you? Doesn't mean things are on hold that the projects aren't progressing - sure they are; only way slower. Sure they will be given special moments because otherwise the fabric of my world just won't seem right.

Slipped In Some MySQL Work on Sunday

I made some progress today for the CoDemand web application on the MySQL database build. Will it be a shopping web site? Probably, but whether it will be actually be launched is another story. I'm actually doing it for the purpose of knowing MySQL better. Got some tips on MySQL TRIGGER, DECLARE, and DELIMITER syntax from various sources online. I have to interpret the code from MS SQL to MySQL so there is some research going on right now.

Today is a Sunday so I basically slipped some work in today. The only other thing I'm going to do today is re-roast some leftover lamb from yesterdays party. This lamb bones do smell a little bit pungent maybe because it wasn't put in the fridge last night. At least now that its starting to heat up in the oven with plenty of honey, garlic, oregano, and paprika so that smell is actually starting to go away and the sweet roasting odor is taking over.

Private Network Links Medical Minds Together

Specialist online networking is a very good thing for professionals. Such sites bring a group of professionals together minus the distractions that come with social networking websites or even non-specialist online networking sites.

Ones such specialist online networking site is doximity.com. This exclusive, private network links medical minds together through the internet, smartphones, and other digital devices thus allowing doctors and physicians to communicate quicker, easier, and more securely.

For a doctors or physician looking up their old colleague named ajit sawhney MD for example, doximity.com would be the best place to start as one of the site’s core features is its comprehensive physician profiles. Moreover this physician-only network is very good for improving patient care and serious medical mistakes can be avoided by users of this medical specialist network through this improved communication. Signup is free.
